Far away
and yet so close
Many companies have manufacturing bases abroad. This situation has been considered by DRIGUS very early. Already 20 years ago the applications MEZA, PLAZET and MULTI could be changed to another program language during runtime.

Today different company locations frequently use the same server as well as the same data bases or time bricks even if the geographical distance is very large.

But how to translate text data without redundant data storage? The system DRIGUS 8.5 enables you to store all text data within the DRIGUS system in different languages. You have to administrate only one data base, which can be switched to another language if needed. So in Germany your standard texts appear in German while your Asian colleagues see the same data with an English standard text.
Simply well thought out.

The DRIGUS language concept
  • Multilingual program surface
  • User defined screen masks in different languages
  • User defines print outputs in different languages
  • Text data can be switched from one language to another

Different languages for program
and text data
Besides the change of program language during runtime the releases 8.5 of MEZA and PLAZET enable the user to create multilingual text data.

One and the same data pool can be administrated in different languages. That means work processes, standard texts, time study documentation etc. can be saved in several translations at the same time. The language can easily be changed by mouse click. For this reason it is not necessary to make a copy of your data if you want to use it abroad. The same goes for screen masks and print outputs created with FORMAS.

Your data can be administrated in any language you want. New text records, which don’t have a translation yet, are shown in their original version as soon as the program language is changed. The color of non-translated text is light gray, so it can easily be identified and translated subsequently.
